We had 8 of us all said food was. Very good one had a special fajitas salad was very small

Great food and good service.

The people working the kitchen didn't look very clean! One lady left from kitchen her coat was filthy. Another man back there was also very dirty. There was only one other person eating! This use to be one of the best places to eat when coming to Eau Claire. When we got the food the French fries were cold.

If you’re in the mood for breakfast food, anytime, this is one of of the best places to go in the area. This has all-day breakfast Sometimes the business is slow and sometimes it’s fast, if you knew anything about costumer service is that they are always trying to catch up and do their best so if your food is cold etc JUST TELL THEM TO RE-HEAT IT or MAKE A NEW ONE, simple as that. No need to start hating over food. Meet them half way, anywhere you go 😁

Been there many times food always out in a timely manner. Good waitresses and the only reason I'm not rating it a 5 star is because for a change I ordered something different and was really looking forward to a delicious pancake breakfast and my pancakes were really dry and paper thin... I didn't want to complain and wait for another order so I just let it go

Delicious food, affordable prices & great service. Came in 11/24 & had the sweetest waitress. She was younger, blonde hair, & has a 3 month old daughter. She was great. We left saying, we can't wait to come back again!

I took a motor cycle ride up to Harley for my birthday stopped an had beef tips over potatoes,an coffee .very good !! Real potatoes !! Great coffee !! Very nice waitress !!! I'll be back!!

This is a home-style restaurant that I would compare to Perkins or Denny's, although I think Heckel's food is tastier. The table areas could be kept cleaner and neater. Service was pleasant and timely. Overall, I would return for the food not the atmosphere.

Heckels is excellent Family Restaurant. Waitresses have been their long-term and are very friendly. Prices are about an average for this type of restaurant. I heartily recommend it.

My Mom and I love to come here and to catch up on news about family and neighbors. The servers here have the skills to know when to come by and when to keep back. The restaurant is clean and the food is always good and their portion size is perfect for me.

Good value for the money. They are not in a hurry to serve you. The food is well prepared and tastes great. I like the coffee.

The staff was very friendly and our food was delicious.....they had gluten free hamburger buns that were excellent. Over all.....just what we needed for a late afternoon meal.

They were slow in getting food out and once it was he forgot my salad, tartar sauce and ketchup. The restaurant itself wasn't so clean

My wife and I love the food here, it's always amazing. And the serving staff is always nice.

The food is really good. the social distancing really sucks because they put us right next to another table.

Been there twice now and each time has been fantastic. I got the 1/2 chicken Sunday lunch and I don't think y'all understand. I'm from Georgia and Heckel's fried chicken is amaaaaazing. So tasty! And that chicken gravy? 👌 The restaurant was clean, service was fast and great. A perfect visit. I'm glad to have found another Sunday brunch spot!

I am a local and have been here several times. Food is run of mill basic American style. Nothing special, but not bad. They have daily specials. Service is pretty good most days. Don't get the coffee. They have yummy local shakes and cheese curds--a big plus. staff changes frequently, leads to varied inconsistent experiences .

Food was very good but was charged 3.00 for a cup of cottage cheese when it was supposed to be with the meal!

The food was cold. There was five of us and most our food was cold. They did offer to warm the food up

The staff is always friendly here. The food is hot and you get alot of it, if you go away hungry that's your fault. Great desert and malts in different flavors and so much to offer every appetite. Try it for yourself it has never disappointed us!

Dinner was fantastic. We had a great time and good service. Portions were healthy and prices reasonable. Our bill for 3 adults and 3 kids was $53 plus tip. Glad we got to enjoy this local treat!

The waitresses are absolutely amazing. They are friendly and are so good to young kids. The food is great, get a muffin.

Staff was friendly and the place was somewhat clean. Food was not great, they ruined lasagna for me. Price are a little too high for the portions given. I wouldn't recommend this place to family.

Had high hopes for eggs Benedict, but was not good enough to finish more than half of it. English muffin was thick and soft. Egg was way runnier than any Benedict I’ve had before, and I’ve had many. Didn’t care for the type of ham used, either. Coffee was so so. Server did well but had a standoffish attitude at times. Like she thought everything I said or asked was kinda dumb. Pancakes and bacon and sausage were very good.

Slow service and cold food! It was really bad...too bad it use to be so much better! Not sure if we would return.

We really enjoyed our meal here. ;-) Our food was good, the prices fair and the service (by Brooke) excellent. Neat, clean, pleasant... checked all of our boxes. Will definitely stop here again.
